Vietnam Legends and Myths

With 4,000 years of history, traditions and customs are not the only things that have been passed down from one generation to another. Like many other countries, Vietnam has its own legends and myths related to its customs, more than one would think due to the age of the country. The stories are usually wife's tales to tell to children at bedtimes, a tradition that is part of growing up.

There is a story about everything and anything a person could think of such from legends about insects, to fruits, to life outside of earth.
